Included in the PowerPoint was how the theory would improve interdisciplinary team functioning. According to Lavelle et al. (2020), teamwork in healthcare is essential for enhancing effective care provision. As an RNBSN nurse, it is my role to participate in interdisciplinary teams and facilitate team functioning. The foundations of Nursing Knowledge course helped me understand teamwork functioning, collaboration strategies, leadership, and communication in interprofessional teams. Completing the assignment also broadened my perspective on teamwork by understanding the application of nursing theories in teamwork. I have applied the knowledge to effectively work with other professionals to promote continuous and safe care.
3. Employ evidence-based practice (EBP) by integrating current research with clinical expertise and patient values to provide optimal patient care. Critical Thinking
• Compare and contrast explanations of phenomena

Questions about the study included purpose, type of design, sampling method, tools, and application. The body of professional knowledge in nursing keeps growing (Mathieson, Grande & Luker, 2019). Similarly, care quality should be improved continuously using this knowledge. After going through the RN-BSN program, I am better suited to apply quality improvement measures to improve health outcomes. For example, incorporating evidence into practice gave me skills to analyze data, solve problems using insight and draw conclusions to improve health outcomes. Additionally, completing the components of the research process assignment provided me with a platform to interact with research studies, thus sharpening my skills. I intend to use the acquired skills in practice to use professional knowledge to solve problems and enhance the continuous improvement of health outcomes.
