Discussion Post: Articles Identification
This discussion aims to identify three articles related to my topic of interest, select one, and identify whether the article is an evidence-based Practice, Quality Improvement, or Research design. My field of interest is rheumatology, and my topic is the delayed diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA). Psoriatic Arthritis is a chronic musculoskeletal condition leading to progressive joint pain, destruction, and loss of function (Karmacharya et al., 2021). Delayed diagnosis in PsA patients contributes to progressive joint damage and reduced quality of life. Therefore, An evidence-based intervention is needed to improve early detection, supporting treatment and preventing disease progression. Discussion Post: Articles Identification

The article is a research study because it employed a retrospective design. The study involved analyzing existing data from records for the research questions without manipulating variables or intervening in real time. Additionally, it is a population-based cohort study involving patients fulfilling the Classification of Psoriatic Arthritis (CASPAR) criteria for PsA. Discussion Post: Articles Identification
